Itinerary help Aruba - Bonaire - Curacao 16 days
Hi!
I am trying to put together an itinerary for ABC and am having a hard time figuring out where even to start.
Plan is to be there end of Feb (20th) and 1. week of March. It will be 4 adults and will be flying from Europe.
Where should we fly in and out to?
Aruba and then go to Bonaire and Curacao by plane boat?
How much time would we need for a specific island?
It would be an exploring holiday, not staying in resorts but seeing the sights.
Accommodation: Preferably somewhere central and apartments with a kitchen. All recommendations are welcome.
Would you recommend a rent-a-car in any of the islands or to use taxis and public transport?
Tank you for every input

From Europe you can fly from Amsterdam to the ABC islands. BA is starting a new service as well from London. Its a direct flight that stops in Antigua.
You can fly into Aruba, then fly to Bonaire and then to Curacao and fly back from there, in which case this open jaw type itinerary is probably better on KLM. I've been to all 3 and spend a week in each. Bonaire is the smallest and there are no beaches, it is a diving island, so if you don't dive or snorkel, you don't need many days there. But there is a great national park and some interesting sites to see. You can stay in a resort and explore the island, have a bit of rest on a beach or pool. The order in which you visit the islands isnt important, just check the international flights timetable and work around that. If you go to CUR first thats ok. Or Bonaire. Doesn't matter.
Definitely rent a car on each island. There are national parks to see and explore, architecture in Curacao, 4 people to get around, a car is best IMO.
