Casinos & the Caribbean

My husband would like to go to Turks & Caicos this year for vacay. However; after researching this I have found out that the only casino on the island is at the Allegro resort which seems to have been purchased and will shut down at the end of April. I haven't found any more information stating that there will still be a casino or that another will open.

Now my questions are...what islands have casinos? All-inclusive resorts (or at least a beverage & breakfast plan) and are nice, relaxing, great beaches, etc...? That are not going to break the bank. We don't have a specific price range. Also, any place that isn't compared to Disney World would be great...I have read several reviews about some resorts and a couple said they were worse than Disney. It would be my husband and I and another kidless couple. We don't mind being at a place that is kid friendly just not over-run by children. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Aruba is out of the question. We were there last summer for our honeymoon and I was very disappointed and if I never go back that will be too soon. This is just my personal opinion as my husband didn't seem to think it was as bad as I did.

Dominican Republic? Bahamas? (We have visited the Atlantis while on a cruise, we aren't really interested in going there for an entire week) Any other suggestions? We are planning the trip for early July.

Any and all help would be very much appreciated as I am very confused as to where to start searching for the perfect vacation spot for 2004.

Thanks again in advance!!!

Some of the islands with casinos on them: Aruba, Antigua, Nassau, Freeport, Paradise Island, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St Maarten (Dutch side), Turks & Caicos (Provo), Bonaire, St Kitts, St Martin (French side), Nevis, and St Croix. Check out: www.resortvacationstogo.com and click on casinos on the left hand side for a list of resorts with casinos on the various islands. Hope this helps!

There aren't really casinos in Jamaica either, just a couple of hotels with video slots and poker....
