How Much?

Going too Aruba for 2 wks in 2 wks. How much is a case of beer on island? Taking 2 with me but that will not be enough for a 2 wk stay. Know on Cayman and Provo U.S. beer can average $45 or 50 pr case. Is Aruba in thae same game?

Really? You're taking 2 cases of beer with you? Don't forget that airlines now limit you to one checked bag with a weight limit. Some are starting to charge for the first checked bag. Make sure that you're not losing money on the shipped beer.

How STUPID of me 2 forget that!! Good ol US airlines must pay thier CEOS. We can't let thier families suffer a XMas time. How much is Delta now charging per xtra bag at check in? Can get cases of Bud for free so extra charge may be 2 my advantage. Just curious.

Here's the website for Ling & Sons in Aruba:

http://www.lingandsons.com

Bud Light 24-7oz $28.93

Coors Light 24-12oz $43.06

Balashi 24-25CL $23.45

They deliver for an $8.00 fee if you purchase more than $50 worth of groceries/beer.

Are you allowed to bring that much alcohol into Aruba duty-free?

You better check Aruban customs on this. Most islands will charge a duty on items such as alcohol that you bring IN to their country.

Never been checked before. Been too many islands been lucky so far. Anyway, duty charge may be only asmall % of retail price. What the hell roll the dice!!!!!!!!!!

My question would be "why bother" with the extra baggage? If you can afford to go to Aruba, you can afford a few extra $ for beer without the hassle of lugging it.

No hassel in lugging it. Two boxes as check-ins. And besides thier is only 2 or 3 sips per can. Still will have 2 buy three or four cases while thier. Rather spend difference in quailty eateries. Ask a simple question and now all the sudden I am CHEAP!!

We did lug beer to Turks & Caicos before the strict airline restrictions to save some money. We've also been to Aruba. Didn't think it was worth it, but to each their own. Good Luck!
