help needed

I posted an earlier message, and apparently there was a problem with replying to it.....

I was curious with Hurrican season already in full force, which would be our best option for the second week of August...Mexico, Punta Cana, or Jamaica possibly even Barbados..we want to be able to relax, and have alone time

We are unable to stay at the resort that I had originally chose (Secrets, Punta Cana) now I dont know what to do..I had my heart set on going there We are looking at an adult all inclusive, or at least 16 and over. We have also looked in Grand Lido Braco and Secrets in the Yucatan. I just dont want this to be a horrible vacation with the hurricanes. We are looking for it to be an all inclusive. Thanks

Of your choices, Barbados historically has experienced fewer ravages during that time frame.

I posted a reply under Denise 06 which I assume you saw. If you look at Bardados check out www.coralreefresort.com very nice place away from all the tourist hustle and bustle. nice beach and about a 15 min walk to St Lawrence gap to some lovely restaurants. There are also some barbados resorts at auction on Luxurylink.com

Have you considered Aruba? It is out of the hurricane zone.

I'd take my chances and go to Grand Lido Braco any day!!!!! We're making our 3rd trip there July 29th!
Our daughter and son-in-law just returned from their honeymoon at Secrets Punta Cana and from hearing her description of it....it doesn't compare to GLB!

Don't the Superclub resorts in JA have some kind of hurricane guarantee? You might look into that.
