Cielo Vista Villa & Gift Hill on St John

Was just wondering if anybody had stayed at the Cielo Vista Villa on Gift Hill through Carefree Getaways. I now its pretty new but any info on the villa or area would be appreciated. Also, wondering about Villa Capiz-- I think its on Gift HIll too.
Thanks

I have not stayed in either of these villas, but we are renting Paradise Revisited through Carefree Getaways and considered both of these villas first. The thing that bothered me about Cielo Vista was that the owners are on the premises in a downstairs unit. Not that we are going to go completely crazy, but I didn't want to worry about disturbing the them if we were up late swimming or listening to music, etc. I loved Villa Capiz and would have booked it but it was not available. As I remember, Gift Hill is about a 15 drive into Cruz bay with wonderful views. I requested their DVD and received it within the week. All of their rentals looked great to me!

We stayed in a villa in Gifft Hill last June and it was a good location..close to Cruz Bay and the North Shore beaches.

I do not know about the villas that you mentioned. The only advice that I have is...if you are going during the Summer or late Spring..I would get a villa that is fully Air conditioned as it gets pretty hot in St John.

Thanks so much for the reply. The DVD sounds great. Are either of the villas shown on it?

Hi --- Cielo Vista is on the DVD, Villa Capiz is not, but I don't think I would worry about that if you are interested in Villa Capiz. The pictures on the website and the views from the kitchen/livingroom and the bedroom look pretty great. And that pool! It would have been my first choice.....Lori
