Caribbean Help

We are trying to plan a family vacation (2 teen children) somewhere in the Caribbean in July (I know it's not the best time but school's out). None of us have been to the Caribbean before and we're trying to decide among Aruba, Bermuda, and the Dominican Rep (Club Med's Punta Cana).
Any thoughts/opinions on best destination and places to stay?

Thanks
George

We loved Aruba - great town area, more for teens to do. Also there you are beleow the hurricane belt so better chance of good weather!

I agree. Aruba is great. You can get a villa for a cheap price at that time of year.

Thanks for the responses. Aruba seems to be a real favorite. Do any of you have favorite web sites that deal with resorts and/or villas in Aruba?

Thanks
George

Look into LaCabana in Aruba. They have everything from basic hotel rooms to 2 bedroom Grand Suites with full kitchens. Very active and lively resort and I think the teens would have plenty to do if they choose to participate. Please note that the beach is across the street though. They also have various meal plans and a number of pools.

Again...ARUBA is my vote!

It is very clean, safe, and no crime. The Aruban people are soooo extremely friendly too!

There is so much to do for teens and adults alike.

You do not have to worry about the water either because they have the largest water desaltinization and it tastes great right from the tap.

I hope you choose Aruba...you won't be disapointed.

My husband and I stayed 3 times at the Aruba Marriott!! It is a very nice resort.

Susan

George-
One more thing, it is completely out of the hurricane belt, so you will have great weather. If it rains, it rains for a very short time.

We visited in July, and it was nice for families because there are kids around. You will have a wonderful time with the family.
