bermuda-things to do

My husband and I are going to Bermuda this month for 4 days. We're staying at the Harmony Club. What sights/activities are a Must for that amount of time?

In four days you'll only have a small taste of Bermuda...but besides the gorgeous beaches, Gibbs Lighthouse, the Dockyard, the lovely village of St. George, party time at the Swizzle Inn, White Horse Tavern, etc. Go to...
/www.keyguide.com/cgi-local/index.cgi and these Bermuda Obsessed People will tell you what are musts.. oh yes, there is the Perfumery, the Crystal Caves, etc. etc.

Don't forget shopping!!!!

As well, take a glass bottom boat ride out to the reefs or if you like to snorkel there are plenty of dive boats that offer 1/2 day packages. If you are there between Thursday and Sunday do the "Don't Stop the Carnival" party cruise that departs from the dock in Hamilton - one of the best buys on the Island!

I am looking for restaurant suggestions. Considering Coconuts, Waterlot, Norwood Room, Tom Moore's. Any opinions?

We love Waterloo House in Hamilton, Waterlot is lovely too but Waterloo has better food. Love to sit by the water and dine. Also Forways Inn. Tom Moore is good too, but it can be a trip, depending on where you are staying. Have not been to the Newport Room in the Princess for years, I prefer the ambience of the other places.

My sister and I went to Bermuda last September -- loved it, it's a Paradise! One of the things I would HIGHLY recommend is a swim-and-snorkel excursion on a hot pink catamaran (skippered by Captain Kirk -- no kidding). Not being much of a swimmer and not at all a snorkeler, I went mostly to please my sister. It was one of the most memorable days of my stay!! The whole day was fun -- they serve refreshments on the way back and give an informative lecture on the way (which you don't have to attend unless you want to). As you've no doubt heard, the water is divine. I wish I were there right now, now that I think about it!! We took this particular catamaran in Hamilton.
