Aruba or Curazao?
Hello We are a married couple that celebrates 50 years of marriage in August and we want to enjoy a few days (about 4 or 5) in the Caribbean. We are not so interested in the beach because we know that in the hotel we are going to have a pool and many amenities but we like to know the places, the people, the neighborhoods, the cafes for watching people, travel tours to get to know the city, etc. We are in doubt between Aruba and Curaçao. We need some advice to know which would be the right place. Thank you.

Curacao mostly because I like the old section of Willemstad. The Hato Caves are a nice side trip, also.

Curaçao has interesting architecture and history, neighbourhoods and lots of cafes, markets etc, Willemstad is very interesting to walk around. Tourism is not the main industry so it has a different feel to a holilday island such as Aruba although it does have some great beaches as well. We really enjoyed our trip to Christoffel national park

Hello
Thanks for your recommendation.
Curacao leans more to our liking because we like to walk to different places, go to cafes, sit down and watch people, and I think that Aruba is much quieter because it seems that its greatest attraction is the beaches that precisely us We don't go to them, we prefer the hotel pool. We like places with more people and different attractions, malls, restaurants, etc. Thanks again
