ANTIGUA HELP, PLEASE!
Thinking of a trip in April 2003 to Antigua, would like to split the time, 3 days on Antigua and 5 days at Jumby Bay. Can you recommend a place for the first 3 days? My prefences are: view sunset, beachfront, awesome food, very clean and updated acommodations, not interested in activities or poolside parties. Any advise is appreciated Thanks!

There's nothing on Antigua that will come close to the quality of Jumby Bay. Curtain Bluff comes the closest IMO, but there's a distinct 1970's flavor to the place. I will say that my comments apply to standard rooms at CB. The suites are much nicer, but for the price ($1000 per night minimum) I don't consider them a good value. Very nice setting, though, with plenty of activities, nice beach on the calm side, etc. If cost is not an issue, get a suite there and settle in.
I haven't been to St. James' Club but some recent reviews are a little scary.

Curtain Bluff is a nice place to stay, though admittedly quite pricy. Galley Bay is an AI that used to get good reviews until a couple of years ago.
Hawksbill has beautiful beaches and sunsets, and lovely grounds, but the rooms are nothing special, IMO. And it definitely does not have "awesome food."
Since you're already staying at Jumby, I assume price is not a large object to you. If this is the case, why not stay at K-CLub on Barbuda for the first three days?

Great responses, thanks. To answer ejcrowe, that may end up being the best choice if there are not too many choices. We have never been to Antigua, and I thought maybe it might be worth the time to see the island for a few days, then go on and enjoy some pampering. Is Barbuda preferable to some people because of accommodations or because of beaches and such? Price of course is a consideration, but whether it is worth it is more important to us. We have been to Caymen, Aruba, Anguilla twice, Tortola, and Peter Island. Numerous day trips to other locations also. Any other feedback out there- Barbuda etc ?
