I'm planning on visiting canada next month. due to budget, I would prefer the cost of my trip to be medium. I would like to do some sightseeing. Also, I am very keen on nature and especially beaches and the sea.

Hi, Canada is a really large country. Given your preference for the ocean I would suggest either a tour of the Atlantic Provinces or the coastline of British Columbia.

They are on opposite sides of the country and border different oceans but both are quite beautiful areas to explore. May is still quite cool in a lot of Canada.

Your decision might well consider where you are coming from and where you are flying into.

Canada is over 3,000 miles wide from coast to coast; it covers 5 time zones.

That is a lot of territory about which to make suggestions.

It is about equal to saying: I want to visit Europe. What should I see?
Granted has more people and many more languages, but the geographical areas are both highly extensive.

How does one answer such a question?
I could name my two favorite places that are separated by over 2,500 miles. Hardly realistic to try and see them both in a short time period.

If I had to name one area my choice would be the Canadian Rockies.

Hi Bob, I was only suggesting she concentrate on either coast given her given preference for ocean/beaches - certainly not both!

lucyp: I think Bob was directing his comments to the OP not to you! You were very clear in your post that you wld suggest one coast or the other...not both! I thought that you summed things up very nicely for natasa31, the OP.

I would suggest that you start here.

Fodors miniguides to Canada. This might help narrow down your choices.

Where are you coming from? That might make your choice easier.
