Try Muskoka, it is well within your driving distance provided you don't plan on leaving Toronto at 5pm on a summer long weekend...
We had a family wedding near Huntsville at The Norseman/ Walker Lake Resorts. Food was good and guests stayed in a variety of cute cabins sprinkled around the resort. Some had fireplaces.

If you have a (much) bigger budget, try Deerhurst in the same area, but wallets apart!

But, I don't think their cottages have fireplaces.
The dining room is BYOB. Food is excellent.
