Pacific Northwest Itinerary Help: Victoria, Vancouver, Whistler, Seattle

Me and my boyfriend are traveling for 8 days. We are flying into Victoria and flying out of Seattle on the last day. So far, we have decided to stay 2 nights in Victoria at the beginning of the trip and one night in Seattle at the end of our trip. I would like to add in a trip to Whistler into our itinerary. Would we have enough time to see all these different cities or am I cramming too much in?

Also, I'm not sure which order would be the most ideal. Should we go to Victoria, Then Whistler, the Vancouver, and finish in Seattle? Or Vcitoria, Vancouver first, then up Whistler, and from there down to Seattle?

Should we spend a night in Whistler?

Any suggestions or recommendations will help! Also if there are any must-do attractions, please let me know Thank you in advance!

Without a car, you need to think carefully about transport. Whistler is up in the mountains, probably reached by bus. The town website has suggestions: http://www.whistler.com/
But you will see that any bus from the island goes through at least a part of Vancouver. Going to Whistler for a day without staying overnight will give you more than your fill of a steep narrow mountain highway. It's a man-made ski resort so if your dates are not in the winter the prime attractions are hiking, mountain-biking and other outdoor activities, hardly worth going if you aren't staying overnight.
You can find ferry transport from Seattle to Victoria. There are bus, train and air connections Seattle-Vancouver. If you fly north in a prop airplane, and the weather is nice, the scenery down below is spectacular. I don't think it matters whether you go clockwise or counter-clockwise but others closer to the land can comment on that.
