Niagara Fine Dining

We would like to have a very nice dinner while in Niagara Falls that overlooks the fireworks and lit up falls. We will do some touristy things during the day on U.S. side, then cros the border and check into our B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake (Canada). A couple of questions:
1) Are there fireworks on Wed, July 9? I saw on one site there are fireworks on Wednesdays but another site that says the dates but does not list the 9th.
2) Which of these would offer the best combination of good food and view of the lit up falls and firworks: 17 Noir (Canada), Skylon Tower (Canada), or The Watermark?
*I will be making a reservation.

Thanks. I do have those responses. I figured since Niagara is a confusing half USA and half Canada I should just cover my bases and post in both.

Was in NF yesterday - there's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant - maybe it would fill the bill? They have a $17 burger but I'm sure it's special...maybe

Hi Chris:

If you are looking for a restaurant with a great view check out The Keg, a steak restaurant located in the Embassy Suites Hotel on Fallsview Blvd.
Not all of their seats are at the window but many of the seats in this huge restaurant have a view of sorts out over the falls. I think you can wait for a seat at the window if you ask when you check in at the restaurant. They take reservations but I don't believe they guarantee a window seat.
The food is good especially their signature steak dishes. 17 Noir in the Casino is also very good.
I live in the Falls (Ontario side) and the fireworks are definitely every Friday and Sunday and holidays now.
If you are looking for a good fresh lunch while in NOTL (Niagara on the Lake), check out the Irish Shop's tea room at the back of their lovely store. The food is fresh and the desserts YUM.
Hope you have a great time here in Niagara.

We just returned from NF & had dinner at AG, which is connected to the Sterling Inn & Spa. No view, but food, wine, service were very good. We had lunch at the Skylon Tower one day, beautiful view; expensive lunch & horrid food!

We like to go up to the martini bar on the top floor of the Hilton for the views. $10 martinis, but worth the views. I had their chocolate cake and was not impressed though, so next time we'd skip dessert. I forget the exact name of it, Blue something or other?
