Looking for a B and B in Straford for the theatre festival

My husband and I will be making our first trip to Canada this summer to the Stratford and Shaw Festivals. We are looking for clean, safe B and B's in the areas. Our budget is no more than $125.00 (U.S. dollars) per night per room. Also, any resturant ideas ( range of $15 to $20 per individual) or other tips would be very helpful.

Check the Stratford and Shaw Festival websites. Each has comprehensive lists of accommodation, and there is a central reservation service for each through which you can book the accommodation of your choice. You'll also find information on restaurants as well.

To clarify your restaurant requirements... Is the $15-20 the price range for entrees you are looking for... or the entire meal? (I am hoping you mean entrees... otherwise your pickings will be very very slim!)

check www.bbcanada.com. They have may b&b listings which link you to the b&b's websites. Also, go to www.novascotian.com and request the 2005 Doers' & Dreamers Guide which also lists many b&bs and will give you a lot of good info regarding Nova Scotia.

OOPS! Disregard the second website referral. My mind is stuck on Nova Scotia, not Ontario. However the www.bbcanada.com website covers the area of Canada you will be in. Also, I checked out the Stratford Festival website and it does have b&b recommendations as well.

Just a note on accommodations... bbcanada.com, the Stratford and Shaw sites are all paid advertising. While you can certainly begin your search there, or find information, they are not recommendations. (As mentined in an earlier thread, I have a B&B in Stratford and thus will not comment on Stratford acommodation, though I will be happy to help with restaurants once I have an idea of price range...)
