Kelowna
We are going to be in BC 14 days and plan to visit Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria. We would like to drive to either Kelowna or Kamloops from Vancouver and then on to Whistler. Which do you recommend and is it worth the drive? Would 4 Vancouver, 3 Whistler, 3 Kelowna, and 4 Victoria be a good split of time? Any suggestions are appreciated. We are flying in/out of Vancouver. Thanks everyone~

We are going to be in BC the first two weeks of October. Will the weather be too bad to drive to Kelowna? Would you recommend Kelowna or Kamloops? We plan to spend 4 days on Vancouver Island--would 2 in Victoria and 2 in Tofino be good? Any other suggestions of places to see would be helpful and really appreciated.
Thanks once again~

tofino is definitly more interesting at this time of year then kelowna or kamloops. i'd spend 4 nights in vancouver, 2 nights in victoria, 3 in whistler and 3 in tofino. it's a bit of a drive from victoria to tofino so 3 nights should be the minimum.

One thing that has been overlooked is that Kelowna's wineries will still be open. I always thought that September/October was prime wine season because the grapes have just been picked, and there are wine festivals.
Regardless, if you're interested in wine even in the slightest, Kelowna might not be so bad of a place to base yourself out of even for a night.
