I want to thank the people on this forum for their unfailing good will and help. I love traveling to Canada and find this is a great resource for my planning. Happy new year!

Happy New Year to you too, cmcfong! And Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! (And a generic "Happy Holidays" to the rest.)

Hello our dear Canadian cousins. Although it is a bit late especially for all of you on the east coast I want to send my Christmas greetings to those of you that celebrate Christmas and my very best wishes that 2011 will be filled with good health, much love and many joys along with of course the trip of your dreams to all of you. Many good thoughts from Northern California.

Thanks for the happy new year wishes, cmcfong!

Same to you and know that you too have been a great resource for other visitors planning a trip to Canada (including Canadians exploring more of their own country!) with your thoughtfully-written recent trip report to Alberta.

All the best, Daniel

Happy Holidays everyone. It's a very white Christmas here in Whistler. We've had over 6 feet of snow on the mountain in the last week.

Although I haven't done anything very special for Christmas, I was downtown (Toronto) on the 24th, able to provide direction to a family, all dressed up, on their way to see the nutcracker at the Four Seasons opera house.

It was great to see mom, dad, and two kids (maybe 10 and 12)coming to Toronto for something special, and memorable, and worth dressing up for.

They were from St. Catharines.

Hey, Whistler Al, haven't seen you on here in forever. I remember what a terrific help you were to me when I planned the Whistler trip a few years ago. Glad to see you!
