Read on the Fodor's Face thread that in the Face restaurant you can bring your own wine and corkage fee is 500 baht per bottle.

When I get to Bangkok will check with the Face Restaurant if we can bring beer/wine.

We will be at Face at 6 pm (on the knocker). Those with commitment issues could come later!

How will we identify each other? I'll be wearing black because you can't see the dirt. I'm an Amazon with goldish (by then, grey) hair and I'll be with a big bearded ex-Rugby prop! OMG, you'll probably think we're Colombian drug cartelliers and skip the place.

We'll probably be the only people there at 6pm!!! It'll be fun to meet up!

I just flipped all the way through this thread just to see who and when people would be in BKK. Would you believe, there are 25 different people who will be in and out of there during the Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb time period??!! (but then, we all know how great BKK is so it's no surprise that so many just on this thread will be there).

I hope those of you who meet at FACE on the 26th of Dec will think of those of us who cannot be at a BKK GTG!! Do have fun, take photos, post later!!

Isis is a European name. One of my dearest friends was Polish & her name was Isis Sobestsko. I think she was related to the late Pontiff.

I'm travelling with my son and his wife. I will, for the moment, pretend I am a thoughtful parent and consult with them about their wishes. I'm all for a BKK GTG. It sounds great.
