I'm thinking the same thing, Bob.
I'm here, but only lurking right now.

I have been doing more lurking than posting also. However I have noticed that there is less activity - maybe they are all on the Europe board...

Kathie, I don't think Bob and Karen are home yet.

Are you still in Kanye West, Florida Bob or are you in I-Taly? Less activity on Fodors is caused by the legalisation of cannabis in several US states.

We're busy with college graduation, then a quick trip to Peru on the way home, so I've been hanging out on the South America board.

Oops - I thought this post meant you were home, Bob.

Cannabis has been legalized in Washington, but they are still working on the regulations for sales. I'll let you know when that is all finished - or maybe I won't get around to it.

I've been trying to hold up my end, planning my SEA for next year. But Bob, without your ongoing presence, the board seems to be very very quiet. I lurked a lot last year while planning my India trip, but am trying to add my 2 cents a bit more this year.

Well I too have to work for a living! But in the meantime as our trip to the Philippines is already planned and booked for September I am now planning our next trip- for May 2014- in Europe. As of today we are thinking- Fly to Prague, then train to Dresden then train to Berlin then fly to Paris and back home to Houston. I spend the time researching which hotels to stay and what to do/see in these cities. We have been to Paris but not the other cities.

Not sure what you're shouting about. I'm not even planning to travel this year (so far, lol) and I'm still spending too much time on Fodors. On the five boards I check regularly I'm finding plenty to read and a fair amount to comment on. Just on the Asia board we've got an on-going Vietnam TR and a very interesting first TR on an independent trip to China. Elsewhere crellston just arrived for a multi-month trip in SA, and crazyfamilyof04 should be getting started soon on their European odyssey (train wreck).
