I know it is possible to have station staff lay down something that allows wheelchairs to roll from cars to the platforms. How difficult it is to coordinate this is something that will have to be researched as it will need to be done entering and exiting at the destination. Also while elevators are available they are usually located at the very end of the platforms and may not be available at some of the smaller, older stations.
I have to say in all the times I’ve visited and used the metro system I don’t recall ever seeing a wheelchair. Good luck and please let us know what you have found out and your experience.
