Tigers
I understand that you need at least three days to see a Tiger. I am booked 3 nights at Tiger's Den in Bandhavgarh, but get in too late the first day for the night drive and leave too early my last day for the morning drive (missing two drives). Does anyone know if you see tigers more in the morning hours or the evening?

Tigers are more commonly seen in the evenings, when they start hunting, after quenching their thirst at a pool. The herbivores move into grasslands & the tigers lurk just around the edge of the jungles or the tree line.
They are seen in the morning, when they have made an overnight kill & are lying up close by to gaurd against scavengers. However, this is just a general rule.
On the other hand, leopards are commonly seen in the morning basking in the sun up a ridge or an outcrop of rocks.

The tigers in Bandhavgarh are easier to see, but my own experience is that it has been made into a zoo-like show. lots of jeeps waiting for an elephant to take passengers, four at a time to see a tiger. Tell your guides that you want to travel SLOWLY through the park to look carefully for tigers.
