We've used SK twice. Each time, we had another person from his team provide the service. In each instance, they were prompt, reliable and very pleasant. SK was very helpful in planning non-routine adventures. Good luck.

He is more than ok. He is a real gem. My daughter and I enjoyed him immensely and felt completely comfortable with him. He's very easy-going, his English is great, and he'll take his cue from you as to whether you want to talk a lot with him or be off on your own. I thought his prices were quite fair. And he was right on time to pick us up. We also spent a day with one of his guides and enjoyed that immensely, as well. He, too, (Sutee) was prompt and polite. I'd recommend Sergeant Kai without reservation.

We travelled with Sergeant Kai this trip and he was FANTASTIC. He is a born entertainer and tells lots of stories and was wonderful with our two year old. All holiday she had told everyone to 'go away' but Sergeant Kai had her in the palm of his hand within about 20 minutes and was fantastic with her all day. When she was tired, only Sergeant Kai was allowed to hold her and at the Elephant Conservation Centre he told her what was wrong with all the elephants in the Elephant Hospital which she can still recall and talks about (and him) 3 weeks later. A big hit!

It depends what you do. Our day going to the elephant camp, stopping at Lamphun, and visiting Doi Suthep with Sergeant Kai serving as both driver and guide was 1500b, plus gasoline. That was the total cost for both of us. (We paid for lunch and the entry fees.)
Our other day, we had both a guide and a driver. We went bamboo rafting, stopped at a market, and took a 2-hour trek to a hilltribe village. Lunch was included, as was the cost of the rafting. The price was 1925b per person for the two of us.
In both cases, we felt if was well worth the money!
