I’m planning a trip to India in March and April and am deeply interested in finding small, authentic religious rituals to experience. Specifically, I’m looking for:

1. Nighttime Temple Ceremonies – Ideally, rituals that are illuminated by oil lamps, creating a serene and mystical atmosphere.
2. Traditional Rituals – Small-scale, intimate ceremonies that are deeply rooted in local traditions and less touristy.

I’m open to visiting any region in India and would appreciate recommendations for specific temples, festivals, or ceremonies that match these descriptions. If anyone has firsthand experience or knows of ways to respectfully participate in such rituals, I’d love to hear your insights!
