Living in Korea while trying to be a tourist

I moved to Seoul at the end of last summer to teach here. I've been chronicling my experiences and think they may help you with some travel plans!

I really enjoy hiking so have visited 2 of the national parks and hiked 5 or 6 different mountains, seen 3 of the palaces and lived like a tourist in many ways.

You can read about it and see tons of pictures at www.LiveLearnTravelTeach.com
Most of my posts are about South Korea but I do have some other travel reports on there

If you have any questions about a specific activity or thing to do let me know. I just joined this forum and am happy to share my knowledge. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for posting! I'm currently planning a trip to South Korea and I am sure that your blog will prove very helpful to me. I already know that I'll have MANY questions and will certainly appreciate it if you check back and answer any you can.

Good to have someone share info on Korea, I am always surprised at how few people seem to have an interest in travel to Korea but every other Asian country is popular. My son has been living in Korea off and on for the last seven years so I have a bit of insight. I am hoping to take a second trip there in May to attend his wedding and I would like to see some of the natural beauty so hiking is on my list.
