Ko Samui Hotel

I am booked for a July stay at the Amari hotel. Has anyone stayed here? Or is there somewhere else that anyone would recommend?

Stayed there a few times and it is very very nice !! Private and quiet but a short walking distance from the action on Chaweng Beach. Very nice pool area as well.

I haven't stayed there but I have seen it and it looks lovely. The Italian restaurant, Prego, is divine. The Amari is always very positively reviewed - check out the reviews on tripadvisor.com if you want to read more and see some 'candid photo' shots.

We stayed at the Amari in December 2005. We really liked the hotel but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we ended up moving after 2 days. We went to another Amari on Koh Chang.

If you click on my name you can read about our trip in "Thailand Diary"

Thank you! Has there been any standout restaurants you would recommend? Also, has anyone done the Five Island Experience?

I can only tell you that the food at the Hotel is very good. And as mentioned previously, Prego is excellent.
