Hotel in Koh Samui
Hey Friends,
I need a suggestion for a hotel on the Island of Koh Samui.I stayed at the Le Merridian in Feb. Loved it!!! But, my friend doesnt want to spend that much.
This is for Jan.
Any ideas on a midrange hotel near the L.M..or Chawang.beach.
Thanks,
Ellen

No idea what you paid for Le Meridien so if you can say what price range you are thinking of -
Centara is luxury, whether your 'style' I don't know, but excellent place to stay

If you want more tropical relaxed style - Poppies

New Star

Sareeraya Villas & Suites

There are plenty of cheaper options also
There are just so many options, one thing about Koh Samui is that you can get good places to stay at the beach which are quite reasnably priced, but having some idea of the money you want to spend helps narrow it down

I do not know if you visited Koh Tao / Nang Yuan on your last trip but if not well worth thinking about perhaps 2 nights there so you can enjoy the snorkeling and also for a change of scene, very easy and iexpensive to get to from Samui
