Please forgive my ignorance, as I'm fairly new to the forum, but could someone tell me what GTG stands for?

I suspect the abbreviation arises from the inability of certain posters (Bob, for instance)todetermine whether it should be hyphenated.

It is a bit confusing for those of us that us "together" as one word insead of two.

would "get together gathering" make you happier?

As much as I would like to, I won't be able to go to the "GTG" at the beginning of Nov. (I know Bob, you are disappointed that you won't get to meet a real live "tree hugger" but shed no tears, ok?).

I am arriving several days prior to my original plan since I added a week to my trip and I will be in Chiang Mai at that point.

Kathie, I know you get into Bangkok early, maybe late Oct or early Nov? I would sure enjoy meeting up with you before the GTG if that would work for you. Maybe lunch at Jim Thompson House?

euro, since you extended your trip, can you make it to the gtg in early dec? i would love to see what a tree hugger looks like in real life. lol. don't worry about bob, he's harmless.
