Food in Japan

Food in Japan
Will be in Osaka, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Kyoto (maybe Nara) for a week any recommendations:
for:
A) Whale Sushi
B) Fugu
C) Street Food in Osaka (ie: squid balls)
D) Exotic Food, I will try anything!!! and Desire too!!
Basically I am a big American guy who loves to eat going with a gf who also loves to eat. To be honest, we are big people and love to eat, any recommendations? We are on a budget, but I will spend money for quality (ie: 6000 yen for kobe beef as an example)

A great place to look for restaurants in Kobe, Kyoto and Osaka.
