NW seat assignment
I was just given my seat assignments for a trip to Croatia in Oct. Like a good fodorite, I looked it up on seatguru and low and behold, there is no Seat 27H on the Airbus A330-200. I called back right away and was told emphatically that yes, there is a Seat 27H and that seatguru must be wrong. I assume he knows what he's talking about. He did say it was an A332. Does that make the difference? I do not see an A332 on seatguru. I just do not want any unpleasant surprises when checking in.

NW34 SEA-AMS should be 332 only. And no, there's no 27H.
First section of coach ends with Row 23, and second starts with Row 29.
BTW, why don't you just go to nwa.com and check your itinerary and change your seats there?

I looked on both NW and KLM's web site, and neither shows a seat 27H for thier Airbus 330-200.
I would go to NW and click on 'Manage mt reservations', click on your seat number. This will pull up the current seat map and will show where you are sitting. If you see a better available seat, click it twice and you will get that seat.

It's on Oct. 2nd. I called and talked to a person at NW and he assured me that there was in fact a seat 27H. I told him I could not see it on seat guru and he said, well, seat guru is wrong because you are in seat 27H!! That's why I was freaking out. But I will go on to their web site and see what I can find out.

Tom, thanks for the tip. I checked out my seat and there it was, 27H, BUT --it is right by the lav!!, so I clicked on 34H instead. It's further back, but no big deal, I've got lots of time in Schipol, so I'm in no huge hurry to exit the plane. I think it will be better than sitting by the lav. So is that official then? I didn't realize I could make my own seat assignments like that. I am just so afraid of getting to the airport and they tell me that I am stuck in the middle of the middle seat - nightmare time.

Barb,
You should be pretty well set. Just check it every other week or so. Who knows a better seat might open up.
Tom
PS I think it is strange that we are both taking the same FLT# (different days), same aircraft, yet there is no 27H on my seat map. Mine is like rkkwan said, ends at row 23 and starts again at row29. Go figure.

Tom, my seat coming back is 33B, so not a bad seat. As long as I have an aisle seat, I'm good. Looks like a lot of the aisle seats now are reserved for world perk members, or people with disabilities. It is strange that on that particular day, they changed the plane. I wonder why.
