Tel Aviv restaurants

My husband and I are spending 5 days in Tel Aviv. Can you please give us good restaurants in the area as well as in Jaffa? We like any kind of food, more casual atmosphere

Tel-Aviv "Time Out" magazine has a good restaurant guide:

In general, there is a wide selection of restaurants in Tel-Aviv at all price ranges and all ethnic types. What are you looking for ? Where will you be staying ?

You must visit the old train station complex "Mitcham Ha-Tahana".
There are few good restaurants there, here are 2 I can recommend.

Regina has received terrible reviews ! For good Italian I recommend Boccacio (Hayarkon corner Frishman) or Picolo Pasta (Ben Yehuda near Mendele).

In Jaffa, go to Dr. Shakshuka (in the flea market) for North African cuisine.

Itzik Hagadol on Raziel St. in Jaffa. Excellent traditional Israeli food of mezze and mixed grill. Goocha on Dizengoff St. in Tel Aviv - fabulous seafood!! I believe they have two other locations as well.
