Shades of tan and khaki and interchangeable tops/bottoms. By Dec the temps can be high during the day, so if not the zip off pants, at least 1/pr of long walking-type shorts. Unless you'll be walking/trekking, no need for boots. Walkers, mocassins or even Teva-type sandals are fine for game dives; flip-flops for slippers in your room/showers. Sweater cardigan, sweatshirt or light-weight jacket for mornings/nights. Laundry can be done at lodges or camps at reasonable prices.

Also, the cheap (50 cents) plastic rain ponchos that you can buy at a dollar store work great and take up little or no space. I took one sweater that went with everything and just two pairs of khaki pants that I alternated. www.pbase.com/pattyroth
