Madikwe vs. Kwandwe vs. Shamwari

First time to South Africa. Want to go to a malaria free area for safari and had somewhat narrowed down to these three areas.
We are looking for comparisons between the three reserves, and if you could share your experiences.
Please include:
- Which area you like the best of the three
- What are the main differences
- What lodge(s) you would recommend in each area in general
- Which lodge has the best drives
- Which lodge has the best trackers
- Do any of the lodges in these areas also have bush walks in addition to the drives?
- Do the vehicles go off road in these areas
- Which area is best for game/the Big 5
- Which lodge has the best food
- Anyone know of particular specials for these lodges (how to get better rates)
- And how can we contact the properties directly

Madikwe is a massive reserve touching the border with Botswana with many lodges operated by many operators, the other two are private concessions "owned" by CC Africa and Mantis Group.
I suggest you do some googling to find out more details.

Why do you want a malaria free area?

Here is a link to the areas of Sa where malaria is a problem, as you can see it is largely confined to the North West.
