NEW Pictures of SA and Bottswana

O.K. This may not work, because I'm not so techno proficent, but I THINK I was just able to publish some pictures of our recent trip to the web. This link should take you to an album; someone let me know if it works, please!

It works!! Fantastic photo's Mike and what a great report to read, was especially interested in your experience at Phinda as we have booked Phinda Forest for 4 nights in May. The photo with someone holding what looks like a glow-in-the-dark baby lizard is unusual - what exactly is it?

It's a chameleon, and it was taken a Phinda. Tracker saw that tiny little thing a good 20 feet off the road, on a leaf at night!

Great photos--particularly liked the lions drinking, the leopard in the tree, and seeing the elephants right near your tent. I assume you were at the beach on the Phinda excursion? Looked like it might have been coolish.

The chameleon was amazing, though he's(?) not really blending in very much.

Yes, that's beautiful Sodwana Bay, less than an hour from Phinda. Its gorgeous, almost completely undeveloped (amazing in today's world) and the site of some extraordinary sandunes, which I couldn't get a single good shot of -- too big!

Love the lion and the cub drinking, all the relaxed leopards in the trees, the ellies in camp, the sunset - lots of them. You have some great images! Thanks for posting them.

Our guide at MalaMala spotted a chameleon at night also. I couldn't believe he saw it - it was so small.

Loved these--esp. the aforementioned glow-in-the-dark chameleon! Thanks for sharing.

I loved your pics, especially the one at the end of the reflection of the tree in the water -- really beautiful.

Mike - Beautiful photos. I especially love the Mom+ cub drinking and the Leopard in the tree - looks like he/she is sitting against the trunk!
