Weather/Climate in Israel early November

Could someone inform what are the temperatures in Israel(Jerusalem) early November. Does it rain a lot? At this time of the year, can we swim at Dead Sea?? How cold is it? Is it a bad idea?
Thanks
Leila

Check out the website www.netdoor.com/com/umcos/weather.html
for monthly temperature and rainfall information. Generally the rainy season in Israel starts at the end of October. Temps in Jerusalem are generally very nice in early November. You may encounter some rain, although not nearly as much as in December or January. You should be able to "swim" (actually float) at the Dead Sea that time of year.

Hi, Leila,
We were in Israel in early November eighteen months ago and the weather was wonderful - pleasant and warm enough for the beaches at Tel Aviv, comfortable in the Galilee, Golan and Jerusalem. Hot (actually very hot) at the Dead Sea but OK for floating and the pools at Ein Gedi. The top of Masada was also very warm - take water with you. We had half a day of rain in Jerusalem, otherwise sunny.
