Coup in Mauritania

While President Taya was abroad, the military staged a coup. Anyone been there recently or are planning on going soon?

Rocco's been quiet today. Maybe he decided that it would be easier to take over a country than to keep spending so much money on safaris. And there's a lot of beachfront in Mauritania. Maybe he'll open the Four Seasons Noukchatt (or whatever the capital is called).

thit_cho,

What's gotten into you? All these zingers lately. This one is very funny. Thanks for the laugh.

And, Duck, thanks for the info. Not planning on visiting Mauritania, but I'd like to read more about this coup.

Cracked me up. The thought of Rocco in despot style uniform weighed down with medals has me very amused.

Where is the generalissimo? I was sure this would have peeked his interest.
