We will be going to Kenya the last two weeks of July. Our itinerary is pretty much settled except for the last 3-4 days (beach portion) of our trip. We are not sure whether we should stay at the Indian Ocean Beach Club in Diani Beach or at the Whitesands Hotel in Bamburi Beach. We have been told that Diani Beach is much nicer than Bamburi Beach. However, we have also been told that Whitesands is more fun than Indian Ocean Hotel (which does not seem to have much by way of entertainment). Entertainment is important, but not if the beach is not nice. Does anyone have any thoughts in this respect? Thank you for your help.

We have been in Hotel Southern Palms at Diani Beach. Beach was wonderful: powdery sugarwhite sand, huge palm trees, ... and we had the beach almost to ourselves.
