Can you help me locate the diary website of a Zimbabwean widow?
A couple of days ago I read a newspaper feature on a woman whose farm was seized by Zimbabwe "veterans" groups.
I can't recall whether her husband was killed or they split up - I have a feeling it may be the latter as he was not living full time at the farm anyway.
She filed regular diary reports on daily life, queueing for petrol and obtaining food and supplies.
The article had a link to the website where one could find her diary archive as well as future entries.
I can't find the newspaper - I thought I'd saved it but may have thrown it accidentally.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Kavey

Kavey, this link will take you to an old web page. It is probably not what you are looking for but maybe it is a starting point.

Thanks Lisa
That was interesting also.
This diary was more matter of fact - one could read the distress but it was more about communicating what her and her kids lives had become so we could see through her eyes.
Very sad situation.

Saw these poor people begging in south africa-very sad

Kavey, I think I found it. I hope so, because you've been such a help to me.

Is this the woman? Cathy Buckle wrote African Tears and a follow up "Beyond Tears" about the heartbreak. This site is about her.
