Eiffel Tower Tickets
Does anyone know how far in advance you can book tickets through the Eiffel Tower web site. It seems April is still blocked out. I can click on most any date in March and it offers tickets, but starting with April 1 I'm blocked out. We're planning a visit around April 9 so I'd like to book online.

I just checked online (http://ticket.toureiffel.fr/index-cs...-pg1-lgen.html), and it appears that on April 9 you can book tickets for "Lift entrance" but NOT "Lift entrance with access to the Summit."
If you are on the ticketing page, on the left side column, part (1) says "choose a ticket." The default selected is "to the Summit," so you need to click on the choice below it.
It's possible access to the Summit is still closed due to renovation work. When I was there at the end of January, it was; not sure how long the renovations are set to continue. I guess you'll also have to decide whether you feel it's worth going to the ET if you can't go all the way up to the Summit -- the lift ticket takes you to the 2nd level, which is still plenty high, but not necessarily what most people envision when they think of the ET.
Hope that helps.

Yeah, I guess it's sold out online already for that period. I checked for 3 days (Fri, Sat and Sun) and could get the lift ticket, but not to the summit. We're locked into that weekend for logistical reasons, so I guess we'll just how up and wait or just walk to the 2nd level, which I heard you can do for free. Bummer.

You might want to check back next week or even call them. It is very strange, on March 31st, you can book 3rd level tickets, but as far as I could tell there is no day in April that is free. However, on May 1st, 3rd level access is available again. It must be either a glitch in the website, or possibly there is some maintenance work scheduled for April. But given that it is open from 9:30 to 11:00 daily, the idea every single ticket for the month of April is gone even though there are tickets to be had for late March and early May seems rather unlikely.
