Copenhagen, Stockholm, St Petersburg
Please help with suggestions.
8 day trip with my wife.
We are thinking of the following:
Fly into Copenhagen for 2-3 days, Then 1 hour flight to Stockholm for 2 days, then short flight to St Petersburg Russia 3 days.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Too busy of an itinerary?
thank you!

It's an awful lot for 8 days/7 nights.
You could combine Copenhagen with Stockholm for those 8 days.
Or do a trip to Russia, St Petersburg and Moscow for instance. You need a visa for Russia and that requires effort and expense, so to make it worthwile I would advise either a vacation in Russia or a vacation in Denmark/Sweden.

Too busy. Just do Copenhagen/Stockholm with side trips. Russia requires quite an acclimation and a lengthy visa process, as Odin points out above. It alone requires 8 days. You can't do St. Petersburg justice in less than 5 days, IMHO.

You could consider a 9 day cruise by Norwegian that leaves from Copenhagen and stops in Tallinn Estonia, St Petersburg for 2 full days, Helsinki, Stockholm and then back to Copenhagen. If you take the ship's excursion in St Petersburg or use a local company the visa is included in the excursion. A day or two at the beginning would let you see Copenhagen.
