La Camargue, France
I just reserved a two night stay in La Camargue in late September. I was wondering what people have enjoyed the most about being there, and if a two night stay was too long. All information about La Camargue is appreciated.

You didn't research the Camargue before you booked? It's a big region. Where are you headed, and what did you plan to do once you got there?
Me, I love Aigues-Mortes, the red rice paddies, the sand wine, the wild horses and cowboys, the beaches, and the restaurant La Telline.

2 days in Camargue is way too much.
Count two hours for Arles, 1,5 hours for Aigues Mortes - the park in itself is seen in 2 hours - a few birds, some horses. Nothing special.
It is only 360 sq miles. 3% of my country. half a day worth.

If you go to Aigues Mortes visit the Carbonniere Tower a little way out of town. An interesting little nature reserve and an interesting tower to climb too with views over Petit Carmargue.

You could go for a horse ride, or a bike ride for part of your time there, or just tour by car. Two nights is really only one full day after all.
