St. Anthony's in Lisbon, and Corpus Christi in Porto

So thanks to another Fodorite (bless you) I just learned that we will be in Lisbon on the Feast of St. Anthony and in Porto on Corpus Christi. Since these aren't big deals over here it hadn't occurred to me that they might be there - hmmm, cultural awareness.

so suggestions - will attractions likely be closed on those days? and re St. Anthony - I've never been much for crowds or Mardi Gras type celebrations. How rowdy does it get and how would you suggest we enjoy it best in the "when in Lisbon..." approach to things (I assume leave wallets in hotel rooms as I'm imagining it's a pick pocket's paradise). We are staying on Rua de Janelas Verdes near the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga.

June 13 is an official holiday in Lisbon, so business offices are closed, however museums and sights should be open (of course, check for specifics). I think you will enjoy the festivities, it's very crowded but not crazy like Mardi Gras. There are a lot of decorations all over the city, there's a big procession down Avenida da Liberdade and the traditional wedding ceremonies, and then, there are the sardinhas! If you don't want to head to Alfama, which is the heart of the celebrations, there should be a big street party on rua da esperança which is close to where you're staying.

Is the heart of the celebration the night of June 13th or June 12th? will things pretty much be back to normal on the 14th? thanks
