Fine dining in Barcelona - please help with suggestions

We are traveling to Barcelona for few nights (one of them being Sunday) and looking for dining suggestions. Ideally as close to Catalan or otherwise local to Barcelona as possible. I read Maribel's guide - but it's not as detailed and descriptive as the one for Madrid.

Thank you in advance

This writer's guides to dining in several Spanish cities are popular although there is no guarantee how up-to-date they are:

Two of my best meals on a visit last year were at Hisop and Cinc Sentits.

Tickets is great fun as well, but probably impossible to reserve at this point.

The Boqueria market is a great place to eat as well.

ps. Dining choices are severely limited on Sundays. You might try Kaiku or other seafood/rice restaurant in Barceloneta; make sure to choose carefully to avoid the many tourist traps in that area.

Last time I was there on a Sunday, we ate at PaComerAlgo; see my report linked above.

Cal Pep is a brilliant tapas bar with a small restaurant, especially known for fabulous seafood. Book ahead in the restaurant or get in line at least 15 min before opening to get a seat at the tapas bar. No 66 restaurant in the world on the St. Pellegrino list some years ago. Going again soon myself.

I have been to Cal Pep a few times.....very crowded and often full of tourists.
Fresh fish and seafood.
Fun place especially if you speak the language.

Cafe de l'Academia in the Barri Gotic is one of our favorites. No web site and lots of locals. Excellent food - breakfast, lunch and dinner - at fair prices in a charming setting.

For a unique experience, make the trek to Restaurante Druida, http://restaurantedruida.com/
Had wonderful food and warm, personal service from the chef/owner who does not speak any English (nor we any Spanish or Catalan). But we had a memorable meal.

And for Sunday, we've had good paella and white san gria at Cava Mar in Barceloneta, http://www.cavamar.com/

Any thoughts on Petit Comitè for Sunday dinner?

Can Solé from 1903 or 7 Portes with tons of history in the walls (from 1836) might be good options for a traditional Barcelona Sunday dinner. Both are close to eachother near the Barceloneta beach.
