West End Inn Review
Set among the glorious homes of the Western Promenade, this 1871 house displays much of the era's Victorian grandeur, with high tin ceilings, intricate moldings, ceiling medallions, and a dramatic ruby-red foyer. The innkeepers have added a cozy patio, a great place for coffee in a neighborhood that's not known for green space. Spacious rooms are either brightly painted or papered with traditional Waverly prints. Breakfasts include Maine blueberry pancakes, organic granola, and freshly squeezed juice.
