This hip hybrid—fine-dining establishment, lively wine bar, and wineshop—serves wine any way you want it: by the bottle, glass, half glass, and as flights of multiple 1½-ounce tastings. The menu similarly encourages sampling, with lots of small-plate grazing choices. Contemporary entrées, such as braised lamb shank and peppercorn-crusted swordfish, are helpfully listed with wine recommendations. An all-glass west wall and 35-foot ceilings lend loft looks to the sprawling space, which can be noisy. Nonetheless, it's a good choice for group gatherings, and, since it's open all day, between-standard-mealtime nibbles.
