Fodor's Review:

For a light meal in Lincoln Square, line up at this bakery-turned-café, a longstanding favorite among locals. Breakfast gets you croissant French toast and corned-beef hash with eggs; lunch ranges from goat cheese salads to smoked salmon baguettes; and dinner runs to quiche and roast chicken. Don't miss the sink-your-teeth-in pastries (you can also buy them to-go at the front counter). Pass summer waits pleasantly in the neighboring plaza; during other seasons, you're out in the cold.
