Fodor's Review:
This grand old institution is now contemporary, with tapestry banquettes and a brown, beige, and cream color scheme. It's still pretty sumptuous, with wing chairs, starched linens, an impeccable staff, and a menu that relies on such classics as roast beef, grilled chops, poached salmon, and Cornish hens. The bar serves the best martini in the city.

The service is so bad. One can see that it's a unionized hotel. The wait staff totaly lacks of motivation and attention to detail. Very sad for the kitchen as the food was good. I will never go back. There are so many wonderful restaurants in montreal.RATING: 2.6
