ABOUT
The town of Heping, which administrates the villages and surrounding area, is the gateway to Longsheng's terraced rice fields. Ping'an, about 10 km (6 miles) northeast of Heping, up a winding drive along a river and up a mountain, is where the most impressive scenery is, although the entire area makes for a great visit.
