Fodor's Expert Review Apu Lodge
Lari Calle, Ollantaytambo, Cusco, Peru
Taking its name from the spirit of the mountains, the lodge offers guests clean, bright, and artfully furnished rooms, complete with comfortable beds. Surrounded by flowers and maturing gardens, the lodge commands a delightful view of the Ollantaytambo ruins from its private grassy perch and is well worth the five-minute meander up cobbled Inca streets from the center of town. Breakfast commences early in the morning over a communal table and is a great spot to pick other people's brains on things to see and do.
