Parque Nacional Queulat

Many tourists mistakenly neglect to stop at this vastly underrated park, yet it is a good place to camp and hike. If you do make time for a visit, you can experience rich temperate rain forest, hidden lakes, huge waterfalls, white-water rivers, and high mountains. The highlight is Ventisquero Colgante, or Hanging Glacier, which is among Chile's most memorable sights. Although camping is a fun way to visit the park, there are also some good lodging options within a short drive.
