Fodor's Review

Don't let the drab storefront put you off: you're as likely to find a trouser suit in floral-print suede as a staid handbag for grandma at this two-part place. The right-hand shop (Number 658) has totes in chestnut- and chocolate-color leather that look good enough to eat; there are also classic jackets. More unusual fare—including fur sacks with wool fringes, black cowhide baguettes, and tangerine purses—are sold next door at Number 640.

Way past its prime

Tired, dated merchandise - lots of bad, overpriced knockoffs of Italian leather makers such as Fratelli Rossetti. Goods seemed aimed at the 75+ market. Store is equally tired and dated, located in a sketchy, somewhat run down area. Bad service - the sales clerk was rude, arrogant and inappropriate. Clueless management. Pity - store used to be good but has really gone downhill. Would recommend going to more stylish stores in interesting neighborhoods

such as Palermo and San Telmo.
