Fodor's Expert Review Spencer Spit State Park

Lopez Island Park (National/State/Provincial)

Set on a spit along the Cascadia Marine Trail for kayakers, this popular spot for summer camping is on former Native American clamming, crabbing, and fishing grounds. A variety of campsites are available, from primitive tent sites to full hookups. This is one of the few Washington beaches where cars are permitted.
